We photographed these enagagement portraits at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. After the proposal on the Diana Lawn (she said yes!) we walked around the Biltmore for pretty photos. The Biltmore Estate has so many backdrops in one location. It is perfect for an Asheville engagement. Congratulations to this lovely couple!
My advice is to drop a big hint to your partner that a proposal will be happening. In my experience your partner wants to look good for photos rather than be surprised. Tell them you are going to a fancy dinner, or that you hired a photographer to take photos of the two of you around the Biltmore. This will help them plan for an outfit that they like for photos.
